This November, we held an engaging meeting for the EmKoI4.0 project. The German partners DEMAG, THORSIS, TU Dresden and ifak had the pleasure of welcoming our Japanese counterparts from NEC, NICT, and Tohoku University. The meeting was full of productive discussions about both the German and Japanese sides of the project, and we explored future perspectives in industrial communication systems. As part of the program, we visited ARENA2036 in Stuttgart, a renowned hub for automotive and industrial innovation. DEMAG hosted the meeting and provided a fantastic opportunity for our Japanese partners to conduct experiments in Demag's research factory, which is the state-of-the-art in intralogistics systems.
It was truly inspiring to exchange insights on current projects and to look forward to the future possibilities that lie ahead!
