Safety
Requirements in the complete process of hardware and software are considered during the development of certified functional safety devices. At ifak, the use of UML as a formalised method is investigated in software development processes, which consist of the phases requirement definition, function specification for system and module, code generation, test and validation. The aim is to establish a quality management for the safety directed software development at ifak as a service for device manufacturers.
