Environmental Software & Control
The work of the group environmental software and control is focused on the development of scientific methods and tools for the design and operation of wastewater systems. The software package SIMBA, developed for the dynamic simulation of wastewater systems, is used for plant design, control design and optimisation of the operation. SIMBA allows the integrated consideration of sewer systems, wastewater treatment plants and receiving waters in collaboration with concepts for plant operation and control.
