SafetyRadio - Reliable radio communication for functional safety automation systems
The focus of the project SafetyRadio is the “increased reliability” of standardised wireless communication technologies. This is particularly necessary if wireless technologies are used within safety-related applications. Another focus of this project is the specification of a location based wireless system which could be relevant for safety-relevant information. Finally a reliable wireless communication system and also a concept of a high quality localisation for industrial indoor applications allows the definition of new safety-related applications.
