Dynamic value added networks through digital collaboration between industrial water management and production

DynaWater4.0

The project DynaWater4.0 aims at the dynamic integration of industrial water management and industrial production in the terms of Industrial Water 4.0. To this end, models, sensor networks/data platforms and components will be developed and integrated. Using concrete examples from the three sectors steel, cosme­tics and chemical industry, the project results will be implemented and evaluated, including an assessment of their transferability to other sectors. The approach pursued in the project will enable the digital collaboration between industrial water management and production to be demonstrated on different levels. At the same time, an estimation of the optimization potentials from digital collaboration between in­dustrial water manage­ment and production will be made. The focus of ifak's work is on model development and online simulation based on SIMBA# for the implementation of digital twins of wastewater treatment processes.
