GESUND ZUHAUSE
The activities of the project GESUND ZUHAUSE focused on the improvement of the communication between private households and attending physicians. GESUND ZUHAUSE aimed at developing an innovative approach based on digital information and communication technologies to enhance the aftercare of geriatric patients and to extend the time they can live in their preferred environment. The main work of ifak dealt with the creation of a target group-specific and web-based platform, which for the first time provides an interactive communication between patients, physicians and non-medical service providers. Within ifak, the Department of Applied Information Technologies participated in the project.
