Due to shortage of water resources, reuse of greywater is increasingly gaining in importance. This project analyses the impacts of domestic greywater reuse on sewer system and wastewater treatement plant performance. This project combines modelling and simulation with measurements taken from a real case study in Israel. Project results will be useful for the design of greywater systems and, thus, for more sustainable use of water resources. ifak develops modelling concepts, based on dynamic dimensioning of state vectors, which allow to analyse impacts of greywater reuse and to model transport of gross solids within the sewer system.
