On 20 October 2022 the Université de Québec (INRS) hosted the scientific workshop "Sewer Network Control for Stormwater" in Québec City, Canada. Dr Schütze accepted the invitation of the Université de Québec and gave a presentation entitled "Control of wastewater infrastructure systems - evaluation of different methods".
Furthermore, Dr Schütze was a member of the jury at the defence of Marie-Ève Jean's dissertation on 21/10/2022. The topic of her thesis was: "Integration of source control and of real time control as measures for the reduction of discharges from combined sewer systems".
