Every year, the IDTA organizes TechDays, where current technical innovations and interesting fields of application are discussed. Topics such as security and discovery, as well as applications in the furniture industry and in South Korea, were on the agenda this year on October 1 and 2. They show the current state of development and market acceptance.
In his presentation on October 1, 2025, in Frankfurt am Main, Prof. Christian Diedrich presented the latest results of the Joint Working Group (JWG) between the OPC Foundation and IDTA, which he leads. The working group is developing a portfolio of technical solutions that enable the interaction of the important automation technologies Administration Shell (AAS) and OPC UA for holistic and cross-lifecycle fields of application.
