We are pleased to announce that Prof. Dr. René Simon will be giving the keynote speech at KommA 2025 on the topic of Virtual controls – evolution, state of the art, and requirements for industrial communication.
The presentation examines the evolution of programmable logic controls from traditional hardware-based systems to modern virtual implementations. It takes a closer look at technological advances, the current state of the art, emerging challenges, and future requirements for industrial communication.
The presentation will take place on November 11, 2025, from 1:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. as part of KommA at the ifak – Institute for Automation and Communication.
