On November 27, 2025, the 34th ordinary general meeting of ifak e.V., the supporting association of the ifak research institute, took place.
The majority of ifak e.V. members are individual members, many of whom are employees of the institute.
In accordance with the statutes, the general meeting has important decision-making powers.
The 34th meeting confirmed the course set a year ago with the handover of the leadership to Prof. Lisa Underberg as chair of the board and director of the institute.
The institute's partners in industry and science appreciate ifak's continuity and reliability. Several positive changes have taken place for employees over the course of the year, ranging from a streamlining of the institute's structure to the redesign of meeting and break rooms.
The combination of continuity and change was the maxim that the institute director had set herself when she took over from Prof. Ulrich Jumar in November 2024.
