From July 21 to 24, 2026, the FieldComm Group’s committees met in Hiroshima for their working group sessions. In cooperation with the Profibus User Organization (PNO), joint working groups met during this event. The ifak represented the PNO on several technical committees, focusing primarily on the topics of Electronic Device Description (EDD), Field Device Integration (FDI), and standardized component testing.
