AMALTHEA
With the steadily increasing functionality, e.g. of cars, the complexity of related software systems, the number of processors needed and the communication also grows rapidly. This increase in the complexity of software-intensive embedded systems leads to new development environment requirements. In AMALTHEA, a platform for an Eclipse-based tool-chain is under development which supports all relevant steps of the development process. The platform uses the paradigm of model-driven development, which ensures the consistency between all models of the process and allows automatic code generation as well as reuse of development artefacts. The platform specially focuses on the usage of multi-core processors as target hardware.
