ChaNGe

Ready for the future: Inductive Charging - Next Generation; Sub project: Interoperable and calibration-compliant inductive charging systems with energy control

ChaNGe

Against the background of technical, economic and regulatory requirements, the ChaNGe joint project is pursuing the goal of further developing the overall wireless power transfer system and helping it to market maturity. As a result, a high-performance (11 kW/22 kW) bidirectional charging technology is to be developed that guarantees manufacturer-independent use, can be integrated into individual ecosystems and makes a contribution to the environmentally friendly mobility transition.

The ifak sub-project focuses on interoperability requirements for wireless power transfer systems in the form of a guideline, test concepts and systems for assessing conformity with measurement and calibration law and the development and testing of an energy controller for operator, grid or resource-friendly control of charging processes. All project results will be incorporated into the international standardization work of IEC and ISO.
