SIMBA# was part of the World University Challenge (WUC) at IFAT, where international student teams worked on practical water and wastewater engineering tasks, combining technical expertise, teamwork, and innovative thinking. Using SIMBA#, the teams simulated and optimized the operation of a wastewater treatment plant, highlighting the importance of simulation in modern water management.
We are also happy that members of the SIMBA team contributed as part of the jury, supporting and evaluating the participating teams.
