DAVID is a cross-sector project that ensures the value proposition of digital interoperability based on the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) in the Manufacturing-X (M-X) context.
The focus is on the support and methodological monitoring of the other M-X projects from which project results relating to the AAS are expected. The support is directed in particular at the design, validation and use of the AAS in the respective use cases. The harmonization in the sense of an open standardization of the AAS, the supply of necessary software technologies and the technical connection of SMEs to the data space Industry 4.0 is made possible. This builds a bridge between the overall M-X architectural issues and the consolidation of the partial model development through to the quality monitoring of the implementations.
