Measuring and testing systems, which are more or less complex and customer-specific depending on the application, are a pillar of this business segment. The ifak accompanies companies as a competent partner in the development of systems - starting with market and feasibility research via the development of favoured solution approaches and the realisation of first functional samples through pilot series to the actual product.
The applications range from microwave testing methods for the detection of smallest defects (project OMD), ultrasonic methods for the evaluation of quality in meat production (project IMFcontrol) to the monitoring of sustainable systems for the self-sufficient cleaning of grey water in green facade elements (project VertiKKA).
