The project IMMUNE increases the resilience of the Factory of Future towards cyber attacks. The information security in these system is implemented by flexible and distributed security functionality. The developments of the IFAK will secure Industry 4.0 compliant networks in production. This will be done by investigate resilient network components at the production field based on software-defined networking algorithms, which are used to realize a flexible and attack-prone fieldbus infrastructure. The resilience is realized through comprehensive distributed IT security monitoring, where possible directly in the automation device. Due to the tightness of the detection, attackers should be isolated afterwards and the process continue working as far as possible.
