MOSAIQUE

Within the research and development project an effective traffic management network in the region of Central Germany was established. The main objectives were intermodal strategies for regional traffic management. Better information for road users and improvement of the underlying management processes are essential for the increase of traffic quality. For this purpose a decentralised platform for an extended and improved data and information exchange is required. This so called regional data pool was designed and implemented under the management of ifak. In February 2010, after four and a half years of intensive research, the research project was completed successfully.
