The provision of high-quality traffic information services for road users requires a comprehensive data set. The mobility data market place (MDM) was established to simplify and improve access and availability of real-time traffic data in order to create new fields of applications for mobile services.
The project eVeSA aimed at the integration of selected traffic data of Saxony-Anhalt into the MDM, consequently to extend the availability of real-time traffic data of the MDM. So far, unused potentials of collected traffic data from various providers are made accessible through provision of this data within the MDM. Therefore the availability of real-time traffic data within the MDM will be improved in total. The integration of detector data, roadwork information and traffic situation data of Saxony-Anhalt in the MDM allows the consideration of intermodal traffic relations in the future.
