As a contribution for the hightech strategy of the Federal Government, the industrial group Augmented Reality supports, with its position paper “Virtual Technology and real Products”, the goal-oriented and application-driven further development of virtual technologies. This initiative was defined in one of the four technology projects in the framework of IKT2020 (research programme “Information and Communication Technologies“), where the project AVILUS made a significant contribution.
In AVILUS ifak mainly concentrated on the information of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and the semantic preparation and provision of information for the digital planning. The main work of ifak dealt with the definition of a mechatronic model which is needed in different scenarios (e.g. of hybrid commisioning of the technology) and which must be integrated into the workflow of the digital planning.
