The aim of this project was the standardisation of a wireless sensor actor network for factory automation (WSAN-FA) in parallel to prototype implementations. The introduction of the technical specification devel-oped by PNO into standardisation organisations was supported. The technical specification will be re-viewed. Two main tasks have been carried out:
- The formal description of the available technical specification.
- The systematic deviation of test suites out of the formal description and based on that development of a test specification in order to support small and medium companies to implement WSAN-FA products.
