The aim of the project was to combine different traffic data models with the help of semantic technologies in order to generate an additional benefit for intermodal traffic data exchange. Therewith it should become possible to modify traffic data during transmission in a way that external influences (such as delays of buses due to traffic jams) could be considered. This should help to increase the precision of the transferred traffic data without changing existing systems. In addition, the data within the network should be semantically detectable.
During the reporting period, functions for mapping traffic data into the semantic model where developed and a self-organizing network for traffic data exchange was designed and implemented. In addition, solutions for processing the traffic data during the transmission have been developed and the implementation was checked with test data.
