Acoustic waves transmit through walls of tanks or pipes. Clamp-on systems, using this effect, thus can provide data about filling level,flow or medium concentration. Within this project a producer of clamp-on flow measurement devices is supported to extend the functionality of its products with respect to the determination of level and concentration. Main work focuses on a send-/receive-site hardware optimization, implementation of data processing algorithms, that are derived from numerical simulation studies, and the realization of an innovative concepts of interface and operation.
