In the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Magdeburg, five partners from science and practice are pooling their digitalisation know-how to support small and medium-sized enterprises and craft enterprises in Saxony-Anhalt and beyond in their digital transformation. The offers developed by the centre are intended to enable companies not only to react adequately to market changes, but also to actively strengthen their competitiveness and innovative strength by developing their own digitally-supported products, processes and business models.
The project partner ifak is leading the activities on the topics of "Sustainable Automation & Networking" as part of the overall project. Information is provided on technologies currently used in practice and the trends towards Industrie 4.0-compliant applications and technologies are highlighted. ifak contributes, for example, to the virtualisation and simulative support of real processes, virtual commissioning and energy efficiency in the application area of water management, the acquisition of process data, inductive energy and data transmission, wired and wireless (e.g. 5G) communication technologies or, for example, digitalisation in logistics. The free and practice-oriented formats offered as part of the project cover a broad spectrum from entry into the topic of digitalisation to further education and the implementation of concrete solutions.
