This week, the IALA “Workshop on International Mobile Telecommunication (IMT) for Marine AtoNs” is taking place. As part of the 6G Platform project, part of the ifak team “Radio in Automation” is on site and presenting a demonstrator for performance testing. Today, Lisa Underberg and Sarah Willmann also held a session on “Rising to the challenges and opportunities of ... understanding IMT ‘hands on’ at self-governed IMT campus networks.”
Topics included 5G implementations and the experience gained from performance measurements on 5G networks and what this means for 6G standardization.
