The 6G Summit took place in Dresden from 13 May to 14 May 2024. The well-known, high-calibre conference brings together industry leaders, innovators and researchers from industry and academia to exchange ideas that will help shape a more sustainable future for telecommunications.
At the IRLG stand, the work of the IRLG and the focal points of the regional laboratories in Bremen, Dresden, Magdeburg and Kaiserslautern were presented. The demonstrator for industrial communication (Profinet over WLAN) and how industrial communication protocols such as PROFINET perform over wireless technologies such as WLAN and 5G met with great interest.
