From 11 to 12 November 2025, the 16th Communication in Automation Conference, or KommA for short, took place at ifak Magdeburg. The event was opened by the head of the institute, Prof. Dr. Lisa Underberg. With many exciting topics from the field of industrial communication, the two-day conference attracted a large number of participants. The conference featured two keynote speeches, numerous expert presentations, and poster presentations, followed by lively discussions and exchanges.
Following KommA, the Industrial Radio Day (IRD) was held at the same location on 12 November. With nine presentations from research and industry, IRD presented current developments and applications of wireless communication in industry.
The positive feedback from participants confirms the high quality and relevance of the topics covered.
We are also pleased to announce that Prof. Jürgen Jasperneite (inIT) has already issued an invitation to the 17th KommA 2026 at the Innovation Campus Lemgo.
