The biannual "PI Conference" took place in Frankfurt this year. The motto of the first day was “Consistency and interoperability for the digital factory”. Various keynote speeches from industry highlighted the use of AI or provided interesting insights into the operation of large production facilities. The keynote speech “Engineers in the front row” by Prof. Dueck completed the first day of the conference and aroused interest in the 5 threads of the second day of the conference.
