On 22 June 2023, on the eve of the advisory board meeting of the Profibus User Organisation (PNO), Prof. Christian Diedrich was thanked for his many years of work for the PNO. After 31 active years for the PNO, Prof. Diedrich resigned as head of Committee C2 (Quality) at the end of 2022. The advisory board unanimously appointed Dr Matthias Riedl as his successor. The ifak thus continues to support the high quality standards for fieldbus solutions.
