Annual international meeting of PROFIBUS-PROFINET International took place in Edinburgh this year. Experts from the various national organizations discussed current developments relating to Ethernet-APL, Single Pair Ethernet, IO-Link and measures to increase cyber security. ifak was represented by PROFINET and security experts, the head of the ifak test laboratory and the head of the quality working group.
