Project meeting of the partners involved in the TwinMaP project

On 20 and 21 June, the TwinMaP project partners met to exchange results so far and to plan the next steps to advance the efficient complete machining of components of variable batch sizes in a heterogeneous machine park by means of digital twins. Exciting topics were discussed, including the development status of a new sub-model to be used in the project and the development of further new sub-models for the Asset Administration Shell (AAS). We would like to thank this year's host, TRUMPF Laser- und Systemtechnik GmbH. Trumpf provided the project partners with exciting insights into their wide range of machine tools in the field of laser technology and the complex technologies used in them.

We are looking forward to the progress that will be achieved by the next project meeting at the partner IPI Institute for Production and Informatics (TTZ Sonthofen) in the beautiful Allgäu.

Further information and a first small live demonstrator, which includes the AAS, can be found on our homepage: https://twinmap.de
