In addition to the usage of device descriptions for the integration of field devices, the application of FDT interfaces (as DTM) is also possible. By ifak, integration based on a DTM toolkit (device descriptions) is carried out. Furthermore, DTMs are manually implemented, for example using the .NET technology (C#). Besides the device integration, different communication protocols are integrated by means of DTMs in a system. The specifics of such communication DTMs are the prototypic character in combination with the standardisation procedure. If the specification is finalised, product oriented developments are also offered.
