Last Monday, 18/09/2023, Dr Alexander Kaiser from the Transport & Assistance Department gave a presentation entitled "Development of a Camera-based Parking Monitoring System with an Automatic Parking Spot Identification" at the TSTP 2023 - 19th Scientific and Technical Conference Transport Systems Theory & Practice. The two-day, English-language conference was hosted by the Katowice University of Technology (Poland) in virtual format. The peer-reviewed papers presented, which will subsequently also be published in a high-quality book series by Springer-Verlag, were written by transport scientists mainly from Poland, Italy, Germany and other European countries. The ifak has been in close scientific exchange with the Technical University of Katowice for decades through research projects, conferences and guest stays and is already looking forward to the next TSTP conference, which is expected to take place again in 2024 as an attendance event in Katowice.
