Next Wednesday, 04/05/2022, the Z.WAN 2022 will take place in Essen on the grounds of the Zollverein World Heritage Site. A trade fair and conference all about digital solutions for water management, organised by the competence centre "Digital Water Management". Together with Dr Benedikt Hirschfelder (Physec GmbH), Dr Lisa Underberg, Deputy Head of the Department "ICT & Automation" will lead the session "Radio communication - but secure" starting at 2:30 pm. For this, Dr Underberg will give an overview of 5G and various LP-Wan technologies and discuss the questions: "Why is LPWN so attractive for the water industry"? and "Why is LoRaWAN not as secure as everyone thinks"? in a discussion round. The meeting point is in Hall 12.
