At the beginning of July, the Research Group "Transport & Assistance" was able to announce the start of a new project. The project "SMueR - Smart Mobility Stations for Rural Areas", funded by the Federal Ministry of Digital Affairs and Transport, aims to create digital interfaces in addition to physical components for a prototype, with the help of which real-time data (e.g. passenger information, utilisation of parking facilities, etc.) can be transmitted and embedded in mobility apps. For this purpose, ifak is developing the data acquisition concept, the determination of requirements with the selection of sensors and their integration into the overall system.
