This year's spring meeting of the 'Hochschulgruppe Simulation' was held from 4 to 6 April at ifak e.V. in Magdeburg. The group of about 20 researchers from mainly German-speaking countries exchanged ideas on dynamic simulation, integrated model approaches and machine learning in the context of urban water management and urban drainage systems. The supporting programme included a guided tour through the Otto-von-Guericke-Museum. The aim of the half-yearly meeting, which is organised in turn, is the regular exchange of experiences and the development of guidelines for the practical application of dynamic simulation in engineering.
