The "ICT & Automation" department was able to announce the approval of two new projects in the past two months. Funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, ifak will be working on the development of models and methods for the creation of digital twins of industrial radio communication systems in the "RESISTANT - Resilient Zero-Trust Avionics Platform supported by Digital Security Twins and Aircraft-SOCs" project over the next three years, and in the "ESCOM" project, ifak is developing supplier-independent access for machine end users to services for installed machine components from the combination of openly available and largely standardised digital technologies.
